Your teacher will recommend books and materials for you to purchase. It is important that books be purchased in a prompt manner to encourage student's musical growth. Music purchases can mount up quickly, so your teacher will attempt to only choose books that they think are necessary and beneficial for the student's progress. Students also may enjoy browsing through music stores to find music they would enjoy.
