Antonio M.
1. How long have you taken music lessons?
I started taking piano lessons about two and a half years ago and switched to guitar lessons only at Brighter Minds last year.
2. What instrument(s) do you play?
I play the guitar and piano.
3. Who are your favorite musical artists?
Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Ozzy Osborne, Led Zeppelin, Greenway and Metallica.
4. What are your short and long term goals with music?
Short-term goal would be to learn some more Black Sabbath songs and long-term would be to write and produce my own music!
5. What is your favorite part about taking music lessons?
Learning new music and talking/jamming out with my teacher Nate.
6. What are your hobbies?
Talking to friends, listening to music, playing guitar, and writing songs.
7. What are some of your favorite foods?
Burgers, ribs, oranges and apples.
8. What is the coolest thing you've learned in your lessons recently?
How to play “Paranoid” by Black Sabbath
9. Do you have any performances coming up or have you had a performance recently?
No I have not performed….yet.
10. Why should other people play music?
It is fun experience to learn, play, and mess around with it all. It is very enjoyable and amazing hobby to gain.

We love seeing his dedication and excitement in learning new music and recently in beginning to write his own music and songs. He has even started signing-something we didn’t get know he could do. We couldn’t be more proud of you, Antonio!”
When Antonio started lessons he didn’t know how to play much at all, aside from just messing about on a guitar at home. But every week we have had a lesson since, he comes in ready to show me the new song he figured out how to play by ear. I’ve been incredibly impressed with his drive to learn as much as possible, whether that’s learning a new song or writing a new song. Antonio has a strong ear, incredible drive, and is excited about everything he might learn around the next corner. I have no doubt he’ll be a great musician someday.
