We are so happy with Brighter Minds! My 16 year old son is neurodivergent and has loved going to weekly lessons. He has made great connections and has learned so much. Staff are amazing with him, he feels celebrated and has progressed impressively in his years with Brighter Minds.

Our lessons are unique, in that I act as an adjudicator with live comments. Joey prepares pieces, I take notes, and then deliver them at the end of the performances. Unlike an audition or state competition, I am present to be stubborn about my comments, and make sure that he addresses them during the lesson. I keep these notes and review them during future lessons, in addition to any new pieces that he may bring.

It’s lovely to hear about his enjoyment within the musical theatre field, and especially his recent performance success. Joey deserves this nomination for choosing music that motivates him, and for being open to break it down through new perspectives.
