Piano (and voice)
3. Who are your favorite musical artists?
Laryssa Okada, SKÁLD, Wardruna, Kiasmos
4. What are your short and long term goals with music?
Learn drums, learn to read music (sight reading). Long term: writing and composition
5. What is your favorite part about taking music lessons?
Social! I like learning things that will help me with composing.
6. What are your hobbies?
Spending time outdoors, reading about science, playing computer games, learning languages.
7. What are some of your favorite foods?
Chicken soup, pepperoni pizza, oranges
8. What is the coolest thing you've learned in your lessons recently?
Singing exercises, they are always fun!
9. Do you have any performances coming up or have you had a performance recently?
We haven't had any performances yet. Maybe in the spring!
10. Why should other people play music?
It helps you express yourself, and it's just fun.

Henry is super smart and curious, and when he’s interested in something he really gets into it. For instance, he memorized the International Phonetic Alphabet because he was interested in linguistics - I know college students who struggled with that lol! I’m nominating him because he’s just a great student to have and really brings a fun energy to lessons.
