Lily m.
1. How long have you taken music lessons? I started taking drumming last fall. I took piano lessons for 2 years before that.
2. What instrument(s) do you play? Piano and drum.
3. Who are your favorite musical artists? Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Sia, Miley Cyrus
4. What are your short and long-term goals with music? I hope to make a band and become famous.
5. What is your favorite part about taking music lessons? Everyone is nice and kind to me and helps me learn what I need to learn.
6. What are your hobbies? Reading, writing, music, dancing, and singing.
7. What are some of your favorite foods? Watermelon, tacos, pizza, pasta, nutella.
8. What is the coolest thing you've learned in your lessons recently? I really like paradiddles :)
9. Do you have any performances coming up or have you had a performance recently? I had a recital in January.
10. Why should other people play music? Because it helps them become stronger in their communication with others.
Lily has been talking about playing the drums for a very long time. We finally listened to her after getting a drum set and starting lessons, she has been working hard and having a blast learning different rhythms and rocking out :) We are very proud of our little creative drummer!

However, that’s never been a hurdle for Lily, as she continually works ahead in our lesson book and shows up every week with an outstanding aptitude for new rhythms and how they should be played. I’m super excited to see what’s next for Lily Merrell, because the ceiling to her talent is exceptionally high.”
