1. How long have you taken music lessons? Started lessons July 2023
2. What instrument do you play? Piano
3. Who are your favorite musical artists? Mozart, Metallica, and The Beatles
4. What are your short and long-term goals with music? My short-term goals are to learn to play longer songs like film scores, including Succession Main Title Song. My long-terms goals are to compose my own songs.
5. What is your favorite part about taking music lessons? Seeing my teacher, Lindsey and learning new songs.
6. What are your hobbies? My hobbies are gaming, playing the piano (of course), and painting.
7. What are some of your favorite foods? My favorite foods are chicken nuggets, sushi, and my mom’s banana bread.
8. What is the coolest thing you've learned in your lessons recently? The ability to make my hands play multiple notes at the same time.
9. Do you have any performances coming up or have you had a performance recently? I am playing my first recital this month.
10. Why should other people play music? Music is another way of communicating and helping the brain process better. Plus, it’s FUN!
We are so proud of Benny and his determination to play the piano! It’s been a joy to see his dedication to learn and his excitement for music. But it helps to have support and guidance from a wonderful teacher like Lindsey. She is so awesome to work with and knows exactly how to encourage and support Benny! We are delighted to have found Brighter Minds Music!
